Zing Japanese Fusion in Mishawaka

It was nice. Very authentic. Nice experience. Sushi seemed room temp though. Beautiful. 35$ for two.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I like that they were at the table the right amount of times. They weren't looming and also not hard to find. The pork Ramen was really good. We wanted 10 more eggs! It isn't cheap, but consistent with a sit down style restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful. Food was fantastic and the staff were all very lovely. Definitely a new favorite.

The sushi here is amazing. Very friendly staff. Limited seating so call ahead to make sure they have room. Take out is available.

So Fresh! I love this place. I always get chicken lo mein; Yeah, I know I'm boring. It's always perfect, everytime. I hate places when you never know, depends on who's in the kitchen. Whether I'm there for a professional lunch, or a casual dinner, my companions always complement the food. Enjoy!

Slow service. Went in and sat for close to 30 minutes without any server or service. I called the restaurant from where we were seated outside asking to see if we could get some water. Server brings glasses of water out and proceeds to leave without taking our order. After 10-15 minutes, we had to leave. Please stay away if you are hungry, or at least eat something before you get here. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

Zing is simply the best place for sushi. It is a tiny little place. I can't imagine what they could do with more space because they already have it all. Good service, good food, and good looking. I can all for nothing more.

Excellent quality fish takes center stage. Every little addition to each dish was perfect and lifted the taste of each bite. Amazing food.

My husband and I are new to the Mishawaka area, and were looking for a great place for a date night. We choose Zing based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. We were blown away by the staffs prompt and polite mannor. We were seated promptly and although there were others, we felt as if we were the only ones. We ordered a Superman roll delicious as an appetizer and Cashew Chicken, and Mongolian beef both delicious. The food was served at the pace of our dinner, we didn't feel rushed out. Overall it was such a wonderful experience, and didn't break our bank. Thank you Sing for a great date night.

Food had no flavor. Tuna was not fresh.

Everything was excellent. Server was back often for refills and to check on us. Forgot about this place but will be back more often.

This restaurant is a bit of a hidden jewel. Though it is located in down town Mishawaka it doesn't receive the hype associated with the "Grape road restaurants". What that means to me is that though the restaurant receives quite a bit of business, I'm always able to get a seat. It all starts with fantastic service. The staff always is welcoming with very friendly smiles and greetings. The sushi is made fresh and is delightful. I tell friends that if you love Chinese food, their General Tso's chicken is the very best period. Enjoy.

Such amazing service. Polite and clean and helpful from the start. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and welcoming. Ordered the citron oolong tea and instantly felt at peace. The food was presented in a beautiful way that made it taste all the better.Never have my husband and I experienced such a wonderful place.Yes a little pricey but all well worth it.Looking forward to going again soon!@

Stopped in with my family for a nice sushi lunch, but they do not do lunch on Sundays. Okay, no problem. Ordered the sushi for 2. It was really good! Salmon, yellowfin, salmon, eel, etc. All fresh! My kids are crazy and ordered pad thai. They said it was great, but ordering Thai at a sushi place? Crazy. Our bill was pretty high for really good food.An edited follow-up - the server was timely on everything and the service perfect. There were only 2 other tables being used but other staff stopped by and filled drinks, asked questions, talked, and were friendly. Perhaps 2 pm is a better time to visit than during a dinner rush.

My favorite restaurant! They always cook the chicken perfectly (teriyaki chicken) and their sweet potato rolls are the best! Also Hokkaido milky tea is the best tea in the world!!!!

I've been coming here for over a year and every experience I've had has been absolutely wonderful. My favorite dish is their udon noodles with tofu. The staff is really friendly and they work very hard to make every experience everyone has wonderful

This place rocks. From the very friendly service, to the food and teas, everything is outstanding. I’m getting hungry thinking about their sushi and hibachi as I write this review.

Best Chinese in the area. Have tried all of them, and this one is most certainly at the top of the list. The portions are large, the sauce is the perfect consistency, and the sushi rolls are rolled tight and neat.

Zing is truly my favorite restaurant. I love visiting big cities and getting sushi, but I always feel that Zing is better. So much of that has to do with the people there, but their food is phenomenal. This is a cozy place perfect for dates or even family time. In the midst of the pandemic I'm so glad they are still open, Zing makes me happy!

The Shrimp Mango roll is so good and the jasmine green tea with boba is spot on. Absolutely will be visiting again.

This is a great Japanese style restaurant, I highly recommend the sparkling Sake.

We ordered take out. Was really good orange chicken had a little kick so it was yummy. We ordered veggie roll. Unfortunately it did have the ell sauce on it so for a vegan she didn't enjoy that we have to remember to ask for no ell sauce.

So tasty and good prices. We were all very happy!

I love this place! I usually only get the sushi (which is both amazing and not super expensive) but everything I've ordered has been tasty and affordable (drinks too). The service is great, whether you want to sit and chat for a while or get in and out, they also do carry out (which I think they give a discount on if I remember correctly). This is one of my favorite places to eat in the area.

Very nice presentation. The aesthetics of the dining room were also pleasant. Food was delicious and brought out in a timely manner with good portions. Overall was a great experience and I will be coming back in the future.

We LOVE Zing! The staff are amazing and the food is truly the best. We have been to many sushi places in town and Zing is by far the best! The chef is wonderful and does a great job in presentation and preparation of the food. We always bring friends and family to eat here (if they like sushi) and highly recommend it to everyone.

I am a addict when it comes to Asian Cuisine of all types. I was pleasantly surprised when my wife found this place. Everything was great, the wait staff was incredibly friendly and the ramen recipe was very authentic.

Everything was delicious and brought quickly. I was surprised by how much each serving was. We definitely had left overs. I loved that they made a little sundae out of the mochi. Too cute.
